As a Catholic, I say, “Pray the Rosary every day.” In this article, we will address the most common attack about the rosary according to protestants. As for my previous article about the rosary, which can be found on this LINK, the Holy Rosary was derived from the Bible as it narrates the life phases (mysteries) of Jesus Christ in relation to the salvation history; it is a Christ-centric prayer/devotion. Jesus clearly did not use the rosary because it wasn’t established yet. It was made famous by St. Dominic de Guzman, OP, around the 11th century to battle the Albegensian heresy. Therefore, it’s an illogical fallacy to say that Jesus and the apostles never used the rosary.
According to the protestants, we should not pray the rosary primarily because it is a repeating prayer. Their favorite verse since time immemorial is Mathew 6:7, which says:
“7 When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again.” – New Living Translation.
If we are to properly read the text, it says, “Babble.” In some other versions of the Bible, they used the words: vain repetitions (King James Version) and meaningless words (Good News Translation).

Also, the GLORY BE – Romans 11:33-36,
When we pray the rosary, we are praying the Bible. We are praying the life, ministry, passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We pray WITH MARY and NOT to Mary. Mary is the first Christian, as she was with Christ from his birth untill his death and resurrection. We cannot deny that Jesus has the Blessed Virgin Mary’s DNA in his humanity, and the best way to GOD is TO JESUS through MARY.
Jesus is the Mediator between God and Mankind (1 Tim. 2:5), and her mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, helps us to get closer to her Son. Jesus knows the commandment very well to honor his parents; therefore, what the Blessed Virgin Mary asks of her Son, Jesus will listen (John 2:3–7). Our devotion to the Holy Rosary is indeed Biblical.
