Putong 2014 – May 31, 2014
The 13th annual Putong will be held on May 31, 2014, Saturday, at the Parish Church after the 6:00 PM Mass. The ceremonial coronation of the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary closes the Flores de Mayo festivities of the Parish. It is spearheaded by 'Kadang Dominiko' in cooperation with the Hermanas of the Catholic Women;s League (CWL) and the Catechetical Ministry. The procession of sagalas will start at 6:00 PM at the covered court of Brgy. Onse.
 
Those interested to join as sagalas may register at the Parish Office or the Onse Barangay Hall ℅ Kagawad Ricky Pantaleon. Everyone is invited to witness this Marian event.

Augustinian Choir Member Sings at the Arena

A member of the Augustinian Choir led volleyball enthusiasts in singing the National Anthem and the Lord's Prayer during the opening of the 11th Season of the Shakey's V-League on March 23, 2014. Cricelle Marie Del Mundo, a parishioner of the Santuario del Sto. Cristo Parish wowed the audience because of her spectacular performance.

Upcoming Activities for Flores de Mayo
Preparations for the yearly Flores de Mayo are underway which will begin on May 5, 2014 (Monday) at 8:50 AM.
 
Schedule of activities are as follows:
 
8:50 – 9:40 AM Catechetical Class
9:45 – 10:10 AM Rosary and Flower Offering
10:00 – 10:30 AM Merienda
 
The program will be held in the morning in order to avoid the afternoon hot weather and to keep the children more attentive.
 
Heartfelt gratitude to the Aquinas administration for allowing the use of the school's classrooms. We also would like to appeal to our generous donors for assistance (in kind or in cash) which will be given to children in need (such as school materials) on May 31, 2014.

Laity’s Role Cited in Recollection
This year, being the Year of the Laity, the important role of the laity in the Catholic Church will be the topic during the Parish annual recollection on April 14, Holy Monday, after the 6:00 PM Mass at the Church.
 
Guest speaker Pol Cinco Catchuela is a law graduate from the University of the East and a teacher by profession at the Department of Social Sciences and Philosophy of Our Lady of Fatima University in Valenzuela. He is the Intercessory Ministry Assistant Head and In-House Speaker of the Servant of God Catholic Community.
